Another rant against those you deem more likely to engage in "bad" behavior, such as using taxpayer dollars. You should try telling that to the GOP-voting physicians who enrich themselves by routinely double-billing Medicare. Your claim stands alone, as I can't find anything else out there that would even come close to agreeing with you. Providing health care for the poor is not the problem - the real problem is Jindal's total incompetence in balancing the state budget due to his dogged insistence on starving the state of revenues. If trickle-down economics really works, then why is Jindal closing down his two terms in office leaving the state in the worst financial shape of its entire history? It certainly isn't due to liberalism; we are looking square in the face of the results of Jindal's mistakes:

I think the real reason is obvious: lack of revenues due to Jindal's atrocious budgeting practices has left the state starved of revenues, and as Jindal refuses to make any move to increase them, health care facilities are being closed (along with university faculty being laid off, as I suspect you will be in the upcoming budget-cutting bloodbath). Jindal's M.O. has been to sell off to private interests anything that we can no longer afford to pay for due to his inability to balance the state budget, which so far has cost tens of thousands of jobs, cut off health care for tens of thousands, and made a few people at the top richer. Instead, you blame poor people for overusing emergency room care for ailments better treated at small-fry clinics, yet you haven't produced any evidence this is so; you fill in the blanks with your obvious contempt for the least of our brothers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
