Barack Obama, Roemer began to sidle on up to an organization known as Americans Elect, funded secretively through many large donations from individuals who harbor leftist views."

This is a fabulous sentence that pulls forth all sorts of the ridiculous, offensive garbage that simpletons like Jeff Sadow believe in as matters of faith. For one, it is the neocon (not the liberal) that is steeped in conspiracy theories. Every night you could turn on TV and watch the most watched, most respected "intellectual" of the right-wing, Glenn Beck, screech for hours about all sorts of conspiracy theories. And the gratuitous swipe at the "puerile" (please Jeff, your deep condescension towards the president is, itself, puerile) president. But even better is the "class warfare worldview" part. The president is, of course, not engaging in any class warfare, either in the literal or figurative sense. His tax rates are about the same as Thatcher and Reagan's, he has slashed taxes left and right, and he leads no charge against the rich other than to say that it is good that higher incomes are taxed higher (as has probably every other president believed in the past century). Then the "secretive" shady organization that is just left-leaning but "harbors leftist views", and having scary-sounding secret donors. It's so funny you almost forget that the sentence before that he was ranting about people who have "conspiratorial mindsets." I look forward to the rest of the campaign season, and to bask in Jeff shrieking, and ranting, and launching personal attacks while insisting that it is always the other guy launching personal attacks, and attributing the most grotesque beliefs on his rivals. I don't know how he doesn't collapse from outrage fatigue. Perhaps the thing he hates about Obama the most is that Obama's policies are slowly undoing the damage of awful conservative policies of overspending, unnecessary wars, shady accounting, wrong-headed deregulation, and all-around policy ineptitude.Mr. Harris Plutocrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14272042050207617611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214951.post-42911424960259019602012-01-30T08:53:08.132-06:002012-01-30T08:53:08.132-06:00"No other candidate has attempted such strate..."No other candidate has attempted such strategy, and even all of those who have dropped out of the battle have exited this year’s presidential election rather than chase nomination under another label."

Wrong! GOP Pres. contender Gary Johnson, who unlike Roemer has been in GOP debates, is now running as a Libertarian.

http://www.garyjohnson2012.com/oysterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05834991774263046373noreply@blogger.com
