Lets see: questioning someone's religious beliefs? Check. Preposterous claims about health care reform? Check. Reference to non-existent "government activism in provision of things"? Check. Glenn Beck's festival of narcissism and emotionalism deserved more criticism than could possibly be delivered in a news cycle. To simpletons like you it is some sort of starry-eyed noble reverence for "faith and individual initiative", but that's just short-hand for what you think about yourselves. Besides, conservatism these days is all about faith without religion, and it sure as hell isn't about individual initiative. Not the neocon set, who just finished racking up world record setting debt and deficits and now pout that they shouldn't have to pay any taxes towards paying down any of it. Not the neocon set, who insist on the most extravagant subsidies for the most active lobbies in DC, like gambling and tobacco (maybe you religious types should stop humping gambling lobbyists if you're really serious about your religion). Not the neocon set, who want to funnel huge chunks of subsidies to wealthy and remove estate taxes so that the Paris Hiltons of the world don't have to ever demonstrate any "individual initiative" to become rich.

There was no "Christian spirit" at your pathetic "rally." MLK was rolling over in his grave for sure. The undercurrent was the same typical hate we always see from your set, and that wasn't what MLK or Christianity is about. But I guess in your little world we should all be taking compassion lessons from Mr. Glenn "feed and clothe the poor" Beck.Mr. Harris Plutocrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14272042050207617611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214951.post-62271941071220158822010-08-30T15:47:51.115-05:002010-08-30T15:47:51.115-05:00Maybe she was talking about Old Testament Christia...Maybe she was talking about Old Testament Christianity...like when the Christians were slaves who built homes for the Egyptians.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
